Nao Kawamura

Nao Kawamura is an alternative pop singer with a delicate yet powerful voice, gifted with a unique worldview. Writing and self-producing her music, Nao has released three works in a span of one year from 2017 while taking the stage at Fuji Rock Festival and Summer Sonic.

After the release of her first album, “Kvarda,” she performed solo at WWW Shibuya and at Asagiri Festival and embarked on a successful tour through Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
Her second album “Elemental pop,” was released in May 2022.
After a two year production period, the long awaited track “Call me” is due for released on October 30, 2024.
Nao has worked along many artists including Suchmos, SOIL& “PIMP” SESSIONS, WONK, SANABAGUN., Tomita Lab, and Shinichi Osawa, as a featured artist on their albums and live performances.
Beyond performing and creating in Japan, Nao is active on the world stage: collaborating with Wouter Hamel from the Netherlands and working with creative unit AmPm to release “I don’t wanna talk,” which became a global hit.

Recent works include a track with London trackmaker/producer Noah ings (of London label Grove Town) as a feature with SUNNY ONLY 1, released August 23, 2024.
Nao was featured as the sampling vocal on Shinichi Osawa’s track “COPY ME”, released on September 13, 2024 under San Francisco label DIRTY BIRD.
